The safety trajectory: a major asset for safety?

Have you ever gone off the road and into the oncoming lane? Have you ever ended up going straight on a bend? Like most motorcyclists, it's probably happened to you, and if you're reading this post, it's because your guardian angel was watching over you!

Mastering your motorcycle is unconditionally essential for safety, especially when cornering. However, understanding and controlling your trajectory is crucial for a confident ride.

A growing awareness among officials :

The reform of the driving licence (only A1 and A2), the implementation of which dates from March 16, 2020, allows us to observe an awareness of the importance of the safety trajectory on the part of officials.

We would therefore be tempted to say that, from now on, every user of motorized two-wheelers will master the safe trajectory.

Yes, but what about those who passed their driving test before March 2020 ?

While it's fairly easy to find a motorcycle school or training center to learn safe riding techniques, the cost prevents some from accessing the training. However, at the FFGM, we believe that safety shouldn't be a matter of money...

Can one train oneself in safe driving techniques ?

Yes... and no. The technique taught in motorcycle schools is quite simple to understand and implement; it's useful when speed limits are respected and the turns aren't too surprising (tightening bends, hairpins, etc.). So it does have its limitations.

Here is one video among many that could be useful for learning to master the safe trajectory taught in motorcycle school:

There is another variation of the safe riding trajectory, the one used by professional motorcyclists and law enforcement . It requires greater skill and more extensive training. But it allows riders to deal with the many dangers that the road presents.

Is training with the FFGM a good idea ?

The goal of the FFGM, which is also a motorcycle training center , is to help everyone master their motorcycle while learning to ride safely . As an association with the necessary infrastructure , training is easy and affordable.

The Federation's trainers are professional and experienced , so they will be able to teach you a more "advanced" trajectory than in a motorcycle school.

How much does it cost for how many hours ?

A good question that doesn't depend on the FFGM (French Federation of Gymnastics), but on your basic skills and your commitment . It can vary from two days to a week. These factors will determine the price.

But rest assured, before starting any training, we will assess you in order to determine together the number of hours needed for your learning and therefore the cost of your training.
